Oristefemi Majemite Ekele was born in Ajegunle, Lagos in a family of 25 and surprisingly, Baba here is the 3rd child of his mother who hails from delta state.
Oristefemi applied to study Law in the Delta
State University at his tertiary education after his primary and secondary
education but didn’t go for it because of his passion of music.
He
went to a music school in Ajegunle owned by Johnny Napp.
This
great and famous school groomed various great artistes of today especially
those who hail from Ajegunle, such as Baba Fryo, Daddy Showkey, and Daddy Fresh
